SORRY EVERYBODY, THIS PROJECT HAS BEEN STOPPED. C-SMS WILL NOT FUNCTION ON ANY SERVER. |
| Translating In this new version, I have made it possible to change the text labels to make the interface change to any language, I've also made it possible to change the tool tips associated with the controls to provide a little help in the selected language. Also dialogs and message boxes can be shown in different languages. The language translations are all stored in the "lang.db" file, stored in the same directory as . The current file contains the English and Arabic translations. To begin with, open the "lang.db" file, copy the whole English section, paste it below the Arabic section. First thing is to change is the name of the language. It is the one between "[" and "]". Once you change this name, the new name will appear automatically in the settings dialog. Now put you name in the author's field and your comment. If the language you are translating to is written from Right to left then change the "RTL" value to "True", otherwise keep it set to "False". If you want to change the size of the used font, enter a positive number to increase the font size e.g.. FontChange="2" or a negative number to decrease the size e.g.. FontChange="-4". Now start translating. Everything to the left of the "=" sign should be left unchanged. This is the name of the control. If it has ".Caption" in it, this means this is the text which actually appears on the interface. If it has ".ToolTipText" in it, then this means that this is the help text that appears when you move the mouse over the selected control. The text to the right of the "=" sign is the one that should be translated. Towards the end, you should find the dialogs and message box text. Good luck translating. After you have finished, send me the lang.db file to c-sms@go.to Thank you for helping me make available to more and more users.
